Welcome to the CaoMei Weekly! This is a weekly newsletter curated by CaoMeiYouRen with the help of AI, aiming to provide you with the latest blog updates, GitHub activities, personal updates, and recommendations from other weekly publications.

The Momei Blog has officially released version 1.19.0. Below are some screenshots of the new pages and features.

A new Content Calendar feature has been added, making it easier to visualize article publication dates.

A new AI-Generated Social Media Sharing feature is now available, allowing one-click generation of shareable content for platforms like Juejin, Weibo, Xiaohongshu, Zhihu, Bilibili, X (Twitter), and more.

A new Content Audit feature has been introduced, providing a clearer view of article ratings.

Moving forward, we will continue developing features according to the roadmap and to-do list, so stay tuned.

GitHub Copilot Price Surge

As mentioned in the previous blog “AI Programming Throttling & DeepSeek-V4 Experience with Momei Blog | Caomei Weekly Report Week 19, 2026”, GitHub Copilot was set to update its pricing model starting June 2026, with a significant price increase.

However, I didn’t expect it to be so impractical—just a few tasks over two days completely exhausted the entire Copilot Pro quota.

This confirms that the earlier calculation of a 37x price hike was accurate. (For details, see: “GitHub Copilot’s 37x Price Increase & Free Search MCP | Caomei Weekly Report Week 21, 2026”)

So, during this time, aside from upgrading Copilot to Pro+ (now priced at $39 per month), I’ve also been experimenting more with the combination of OpenCode + DeepSeek-V4-Pro to reduce costs.

Including caching, DeepSeek-V4 can achieve approximately 1 RMB for 11 million tokens, making it a highly cost-effective option overall.

Even though DeepSeek-V4 currently has some gaps compared to GPT-5.4 and Claude Opus 4.6, I am still quite willing to continue using DeepSeek-V4.
